Employees of Latin Patriarchate participate in spiritual retreat

Beit Jala – On november 27th 2015, the employees of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem participated in a spiritual retreat at the Latin Seminary in Beit Jala.

“How to prepare for Christmas during Advent?” This was the question that Fr Johnny Bahbah started his lecture at the Latin Seminary in Beit Jala. Fr Bahah didn’t only talk about the importance of Christmas, but he also talked about the second coming of Christ: “that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night (1Th 5:2)”, meaning people will be caught off-guard by His coming.

After the lecture, the employees were divided into small groups where they discussed questions asked by Fr Bahbah on how people prepare for Christmas. Every person was able to express his points of view and reflections. After the discussion, a representative of each group summarized the main ideas of their reflections.

Later, Fr Firas Aridah presided over the mass at the church of the Seminary. Afterwards, the employees went and had lunch, sharing laughter and joy ending on that note a fruitful spiritual day.
