Palestinian Territories Tawijihi: Great Results

PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES – In the report prepared by Don Hijazeen Faisal, head of the Patriarchate Catholic schools in Palestine, the results of Tawijihi (maturity examination) confirmed, looking at the percentages, a significant achievement for students of the Territories.

Of the 240 pupils enrolled in the schools of the Latin Patriarchate in the Palestinian territories, 73 have obtained an average between 90 and 100, and another 78 on average between 80 and 90. The report indicates that only 13 have been a failure at school in one or two subjects.

Bishop Shomali, Auxiliary Bishop of Jerusalem, welcomed the positive results of this school year, and expressed congratulations to the students.

As usual at the end of each school year, Patriarch Fouad Twal and his auxiliaries have visited the various schools of the Latin Patriarchate in Israel, Palestinian Territories and Jordan. For this occasion, there were celebrations, with dancing, games, music.

Among recent graduates, some will be at Bethlehem University; others will attend the University of Madaba.
Regarding the results of the school year 2011/2012 at the Schools of the Latin Patriarchate in Israel and Jordan, they are still unknown. We await their final publication.
