Every year, the last Sunday in October is a special day for Christians in the Holy Land: All are invited to celebrate the feast of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Palestine at Deir Rafat. Below is the official invitation.
The Patriarchal Diocese of Jerusalem celebrates the Feast of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Palestine, Principal Patroness of the Diocese, in the sanctuary of Deir Rafat.
The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem invites you to attend the papal Mass to be presided by the Most Reverend William Shomali, Auxiliary Bishop of Jerusalem, on Sunday, October 31, 2010, at 10:30.
Following the Mass is the traditional procession of the Icon of the Virgin Mary, Queen of Palestine.
